This problem occured and caused a great deal of problems when I was trying to move forward with our own internal IT setup preventing me utilising Microsoft’s OneDrive/Sharepoint services.
After much searching I finally found the file I needed to reset in order to correct the issue I was having.
A couple of steps should however be tried first.
- Sign out of all Microsoft applications, i.e. Word, Excel, etc.
- Close ALL Microsoft applications.
- Removing cached/stored passwords for Microsoft’s application from the ‘Keychain’. Open Keychain and search for ‘Office’, ‘adal’ and ‘onedrive’ removing the appropriate entries.
